Success in the British Biology Olympiad

Biology0053a-1024x681
Results are in from this year’s British Biology Olympiad and we're delighted to announce that over half of the 13 students from Oxford Sixth Form College who entered received recognition for their achievement, with two Silver, three Highly Commended and two Commended Awards.

Mark Love, College Principal, is delighted with the result:

"The College's scientists go from strength to strength and with these results our biologists are now beginning to make ground on their counterparts in mathematics and physics who achieved great success earlier in the academic year. My congratulations to all!"

2021 is the 25th anniversary of the competition, which is organised by the Royal Society of Biology. This year it saw 8476 students from 622 schools worldwide taking part.

This has been our most successful year so far so congratulations again to all our participants for their hard work in preparing for the competition.
