Our BTEC Business programme offers 16 to 19-year-old students a more practical, vocational learning experience.
Delivered by experts with rich experience in industry, BTEC prepares students for the fast-paced and constantly evolving business world.
The BTEC Business Extended Diploma is the equivalent to three A-levels. We offer a two-year programme that starts in September or a five-term option, starting in January.
Students study 13 units of work, which include marketing, the principles of management, and decision-making. Within each unit, students conduct research, give presentations, produce papers, and take part in group work.
Our students also enjoy field trips to a variety of companies. This gives them an insight into the practical workings of a successful business and brings classroom theory to life.
The Diploma is assessed through a mix of coursework (58%), supervised assessment (31%), and a formal exam (11%).
