Oxford Sixth Form College is a leading independent day and boarding college for 15 to 19-year-olds. In a warm and culturally diverse environment, we offer a fully personalised, university-style education, where every student is supported to achieve their personal and academic goals.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

At Oxford Sixth Form College, it all starts with you. Our personalised approach offers something different to most mainstream independent schools, giving you the opportunity to design and continually shape your entire learning journey.
 

From the moment we meet, we’ll work together to identify your goals. We’ll then help you choose the right academic programme and put in place the individual guidance you need to succeed. 


Whichever path you follow, you’ll learn in small, informal tutorial groups averaging just six students. Everyone receives expert academic and pastoral care from a dedicated Senior Tutor, too. Your education will also be enriched by the cultural diversity of our truly international community – and our superb central Oxford location.

Oxford Sixth Form College is one of the UK’s leading independent schools for students aged from 15 to 19.

Established in 1988, our founding vision was to help students succeed through small group, tutorial teaching. The success of this approach means that personalised tuition and focused exam preparation remain at the heart of our ethos today.

Formerly Oxford Tutorial College, we changed our name to Oxford Sixth Form College in 2019. We also adjusted our focus slightly, increasing the variety of subjects, courses, and start dates we offer, and emphasising the importance of personalised pastoral support. Academically, this means we offer more flexibility than other schools, with a variety of courses available at A-Level, BTEC, and GCSE.

In 2021, the college joined the Nord Anglia Education family of premium international schools. This gives our staff and students access to a wealth of resources, opportunities, and connections across the globe. We’re also a proud member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA) and Boarding Schools Association (BSA).
