A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO EDUCATION

We think beyond traditional education at Oxford Sixth Form College. Our laser-like focus on the needs, preferences, and aspirations of each individual differs to the approach taken by many independent schools, enabling you to design and shape your own journey to success.

Learning and living here, you’ll have the freedom to be yourself and pursue your passions, too. This means immersing yourself in the societies, trips, and social activities you love. We’ll also help you develop the skills, confidence, and sense of independence you need to thrive at university and beyond.

TREATING YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL

From the moment we meet, we’ll make sure you have the individual support you need to fulfil your ambitions. At an informal interview, we’ll get to know you as a person, and talk about everything from friendship groups and hobbies to university and career plans.

Our teachers, Director of Studies, and your dedicated Senior Tutor will then create an environment you feel comfortable in. They’ll ensure you’re on the right path and put in place a holistic support system that combines expert academic guidance with high levels of pastoral care.

Expeditions and trips

DISCOVERING OXFORD – AND THE WORLD

On international trips – including our personal challenge expedition to Les Martinets in Switzerland – our students grow in confidence and develop a global outlook. Closer to home, a variety of activities offer endless fun and friendship. These include trips to Thorpe Park, days out in London, and countryside walks, as well our end-of-year Summer Ball.

A GLOBAL COMMUNITY

Your time at Oxford Sixth Form College will be enriched by the diversity of our international community. Home to students from more than 35 countries, our small but remarkably diverse family fosters understanding, tolerance, and open-mindedness. It also inspires our young people to think about their place in the world – and how they can help others.

On campus, our values of equality, diversity, and inclusivity come to life through a variety of projects, such as Pride Allies. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference through our Student Council, too, whether that’s raising money for charities like Crisis, or coming up with ideas to improve how we do things.
