For the first time, Oxford Sixth Form College with be holding a UCAS week for our Lower Sixth students.

The week will replace timetabled lessons, to allow students to attend workshops and seminars designed to help them with their upcoming university applications. Workshops will include help and advice in choosing a university, writing their personal statement, preparing for interviews, as well as workshops on admissions exams for specific fields such as BMAT, LNAT, and UCAT.

In addition to the workshops, we will be holding a mini universities fair, during which students can talk directly to representatives from prospective institutions. So far confirmed are Aston, Durham, Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham, Swansea and Queen Mary.

The following week, all Lower Sixth students will be attending a Higher Education convention at Oxford Brookes University.
