Business looks at the theories and ideas that underlie Business decisions and the practical application of these. Students gain a practical understanding of the working of a variety of businesses and develop the ability to analyse businesses via case studies to offer interpretations of business practice and advice on how to improve the current situation.

GCSEs grade 5 or above including Maths and English or equivalent international qualifications.
For international students who have taken IELTS, we require an overall score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 for each of the reading and writing components.
For international students who have taken IGCSE English (Second Language), we require grade 5 or above.
Students do not need to have studied Business before but need to have an interest in the workings of business. There are some calculations involved and the need to interpret and present data, so sound Mathematical skills are very helpful. Knowledge of the workings of a business are built up during the course.
