Assistant Head of Boarding

The successful candidate will have a very strong pastoral ethos and commitment to the care and welfare of young people.

Excellent ICT, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and communicate effectively with people at all levels, are also essential.

The College’s boarding environment and ethos is very much that of an independent sector sixth form college, not a traditional boarding school and we seek to appoint someone who is able to work in what is a rather unique boarding setting that combines a wish to enhance students’ experience of boarding when attending the College whilst also encouraging independence.

Experience within boarding is an advantage but is not essential as our focus is upon finding someone who shares our sixth form college values and can successfully fulfil the requirements of the job description.
