ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL (ACADEMIC)

Reporting directly to the Principal, and working in close co-operation with the Assistant Principal (Pastoral and Boarding) and Director of Admissions (forming the Senior Management Team), the Assistant Principal (Academic) will be responsible for ensuring the provision of excellent educational programmes for students, and more generally will be required to make a positive contribution to the effective management and future development of the College. The Assistant Principal (Academic) will have overall responsibility for all aspects of academic quality and teaching delivery, including the effective management and development of the College curriculum, timetable, teaching and resources as well as providing motivational staff leadership.

Teacher of Chemistry

FULL-TIME PERMANENT CONTRACT

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher of chemistry. The successful candidate will be able  to teach within our A-level, NCUK IFY Science and GCSE programmes.

Our ideal candidates will have outstanding teaching skills, with the ability to challenge, engage and inspire our pupils to achieve their full potential.

Applications are equally welcome from experienced teachers, NQTs and those without formal teaching qualifications.

The ability to teach another science subject to at least GCSE level is advantageous but not essential.

Residential Deans Required for our Easter Revision Course

We are looking to recruit three Residential Deans to support the students and staff on our intensive Easter Revision Course. The Residential team will assist with all aspects of the programme and accommodation, including helping with arrivals, departures, office duties and the overnight rota to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. These are residential roles staying at our student accommodation in the city centre. We ask that you are able to commit to both weeks, Monday 8th April – Thursday 18th April 2019, and we offer excellent rates of pay.

EXPERIENCED A LEVEL AND GCSE TUTORS REQUIRED

We are seeking experienced A Level and GCSE tutors in Philosophy, Government & Politics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English Literature

to teach on one or two weeks of our intensive Easter Revision Course. The ability to teach different exam board specifications is an advantage, although not a necessity.

The course commences on Monday 8th April until Thursday 18th April 2019. Please see below:

Week 1 – Monday 8th April – Friday 12th April

Week 2 – Sunday 14th April – Thursday 18th April

The hours taught per week vary from teaching A-level classes for between 19.5 and 21 hours to teaching GCSE groups for 24 hours.

A salary of up to £1,100 is available per week on the Easter Revision Course.
