Laboratory Technician

We are looking to recruit a permanent contract, term time plus two weeks Laboratory Technician to join the College on 2nd September 2019.

The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in the provision of an expertly informed, safe and successful science laboratory environment for students and teachers alike.

The appointee will work closely with the team of science teachers at the College who teach GCSE, A-level and NCUK IFY courses.

The successful candidates will have demonstrable, strong skills in all areas detailed within the job description as well as excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is essential.

Marketing Officer (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to recruit a fixed term contract, maternity cover, Marketing Officer for the period Monday 5th August 2019 – Friday 7th February 2020 inclusive.  The Marketing Officer plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of the College’s multi-channel marketing plan to support all domestic and international student recruitment activity, to support all communications out of the College, and to manage the consistency of the brand internally and externally.

The role will suit a bright and motivated individual who has a proven track record in marketing within education and has delivered both traditional and digital marketing campaigns to support student recruitment.  The ability to integrate longer term planning with short-term deliverables is essential.

The Marketing Officer will work closely with the local team at the College but also with the central marketing team at Oxford International, the College’s parent company.

The successful candidates will have demonstrable, strong skills in all areas detailed within the job description, as well as excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.  The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is essential.

Experience of marketing within an education environment is an advantage but is not essential as our focus is upon finding someone who shares our sixth form college values and can successfully fullfil the requirements of the job description.

Boarding Graduate Assistants

In anticipation of the College’s boarding student community growing to 125 by September 2020, we are looking to recruit permanent contract, part-time Boarding Graduate Assistants to work closely with the Head of Boarding and Assistant Head of Boarding in the delivery and development of the College’s boarding provision.

The successful candidates will have a very strong pastoral ethos and commitment to the care and welfare of young people.

Excellent ICT, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, are also essential.

Experience within boarding is an advantage but is not essential as our focus is upon finding someone who shares our sixth form college values and can successfully fulfil the requirements of the job description.

Part-time Boarding Graduate Assistants

Permanent contract, morning positions and evening positions are available with a salary of up to £4,750 p.a being available.

The evening post holders will work from 8.00 p.m. – 11.00 p.m. on a four evenings off duty four evenings on duty rota, September – June (inclusive) excluding College Christmas and Easter holidays.

The morning post holders will work from 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on a four mornings off duty four mornings on duty rota, September – June (inclusive) excluding College Christmas and Easter holidays

Start date:  20th August 2019
