In anticipation of the College’s boarding student community growing to 125 by September 2020, we are looking to recruit permanent contract, part-time Boarding Graduate Assistants to work closely with the Head of Boarding and Assistant Head of Boarding in the delivery and development of the College’s boarding provision.

The successful candidates will have a very strong pastoral ethos and commitment to the care and welfare of young people.

Excellent ICT, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, are also essential.

Experience within boarding is an advantage but is not essential as our focus is upon finding someone who shares our sixth form college values and can successfully fulfil the requirements of the job description.

Please note that these roles do not include the provision of accommodation within a boarding house; they are ‘live-out’ positions.

Part-time Boarding Graduate Assistants

Permanent contract, morning positions and evening positions are available with a salary of up to £4,750 p.a being available.

The evening post holders will work from 7.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m. on a four evenings off duty four evenings on duty rota, September – June (inclusive) excluding College Christmas and Easter holidays.

The morning post holders will work from 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on a four mornings off duty four mornings on duty rota, September – June (inclusive) excluding College Christmas and Easter holidays
