The tartan came out this week as students and staff celebrated St. Andrew’s Day and all things Scottish.

There were thistles (Scotland’s national flower), shortbread, Irn Bru, and there was even the opportunity to try traditional haggis – with mixed reactions!

This successful event was led by our lovely Scottish biology teacher, Alison, who went all out with activities including translating poems by Robert Burns and having a go with the traditional Scottish dialect to construct sentences!

Here at the College we welcome the opportunity to indulge in new cultures, try new foods and learn about their traditions; bring on the next event!
